ADA leading the way in deer

The South-East Branch of the Australian Deer Association was formed in 1974 in Naracoorte, by locals with a keen interest in SA’s wild fallow deer which were released in this area in the mid-1800s by the former Victorian Acclimatisation Society. The SE Branch in 2014 celebrated its 40th Anniversary with a function for 115 guests at the Naracoorte Town Hall, and was back at the same venue last weekend for a meeting and in-depth hunter education day.
